What’d You Do This Weekend? #11

Welcome to the new week. If you are a regular here thanks for coming back and if this is your first time, welcome! I hope you enjoy the party.

I was a little late with the mid-week feature do to a crazy week at work but I just adore this one from Jane’s Adventures in Dinner:  Fat Free Banana Gingerbread Muffins.  Mmm.mmm…good and no fat (til you add that hunk of butter).

Last week, I was garden inspired again with this simple and cute Strawberry Planter from We Made That.

I also thought this rainy day cake with a bit of sunshine mixed in from Just Dip It In Chocolate was precious!  Berry Blue Poke Cake

Thanks so much for sharing these lovely ideas! If you would like to get a featured button you can grab one here.

I am open to everything except promos, political material and Etsy Shops. Recipes, crafts, house and yard projects, sewing, restaurant review or even your weekend road trip ramblings are all welcome links. You’ll note by the title of the site that I like ramblings! Whatever. I like to read and learn new things. I will be having weekly features that I will promote on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest our Monthly Newsletter and anyplace else I can think to share. We just ask that you place our button on your post or on your parties page or link us somewhere.

If you would like to co-host just send us an email and we’ll set it up as soon as possible.

We are doing it again this week. Everyone gets pinned. Spread the word. ;)

There was a lot of destruction in this west Texas town this weekend.  I stayed home and steered clear of the chaos.  On Saturday they brought down this old and unused tower.  It was a landmark even though it was kind of an eyesore.  I think things will look very different.  They also destroyed the old city hall.  I guess El Paso is into spring cleaning this year.

This weekend, while hiding out, I hosted a Lemon party with Hammock Tracks and Call Me PMC.  There was some great stuff and I remembered a few of my favorite lemon posts.  Of course, I threw a new one in for good measure.  Lemon Basil Sandwich Cookies, Meyer Lemons and Lemon Poppy Seed Bread.

Don’t forget to come back on Saturday for Saturday Dishes. This week’s theme is Beef.

Out with the old, in with the new :) They are doing a lot of that here in Cedar Rapids as well. Some of the old dangerous building I agree should go, but some are just in the way of the developers :( Thanks for hosting another awesome party…have a wonderful week!

Hi! What a great hop you have here. I actually found your blog from the “Nice to Meet You” hop over at Sensational Creations. I totally love the tin can plant idea! We will be painting our house this summer and it will be great to save the cans for that! Following on BlogLovin, hope you are having a great week!
